1. Install and Open the App
Install DJ Mixer Studio – Virtual DJ on your Windows computer.
Open the app from the Start Menu.
When the app starts, the home screen will appear with two options:
• DJ Player
• Video Player
Choose the module you want to use.
Part 1 – Using the DJ Player
2. Open DJ Player
Click DJ Player from the home screen.
The DJ mixing interface will open.
You will see:
• Two audio decks for mixing tracks
• Music library panel
• Equalizer controls
• Play, pause, and cue buttons
This interface lets you control and mix audio tracks in real time.
3. Load Music Tracks
To start mixing music, load songs into the decks.
Steps:
Open the music library section.
Browse your computer for audio files.
Select a song.
Drag or load the track into Deck A or Deck B.
Both tracks will appear on the mixer.
4. Play Music
Steps:
Press the Play button on a deck.
The track will start playing.
Use the pause button if needed.
You can play two tracks at the same time to begin mixing.
5. Mix Two Songs Together
Mixing is done using the crossfader.
Steps:
Load one track on Deck A.
Load another track on Deck B.
Start both tracks.
Move the crossfader slider.
The crossfader blends the sound from both tracks smoothly.
6. Adjust Volume and Equalizer
Each deck has audio controls.
You can adjust:
• Volume level
• Bass
• Mid frequencies
• Treble
Steps:
Move the equalizer sliders.
Adjust sound levels until the mix sounds balanced.
7. Apply Audio Effects
The DJ player includes built-in effects.
Examples:
• Echo
• Filters
• Equalizer effects
Steps:
Select the effects panel.
Choose an effect.
Apply it to the playing track.
Effects help make your mix more creative and dynamic.
8. Create Loops
Looping lets you repeat a section of a song.
Steps:
Play the track.
Press the Loop button.
Select the loop length.
The selected part of the song will repeat continuously.
9. Record Your DJ Session
You can record your mix.
Steps:
Click the Record button.
Start mixing tracks.
When finished, stop recording.
The session will be saved on your computer.
